Recognise this?
The leaders I work with are capable and committed but are carrying far more than one person should.
Everything feels important, or complex
Often it's the sign of a business in transition: growing, planning succession or changing direction.
I connect the dots across the organisation, take on the operational and cognitive load, and free you to focus on strategy, leadership and planning forward with confidence.
Decisions stack up, and all come through you.
You wake in the night, running through your to-do list.
The business is changing faster than you can keep up
How I work
Diagnose, build, run, maintain.

Diagnose.
Understanding your organisation is fundamental to a successful partnership: your purpose, vision, mission, context and external pressures. Clarity and honest communication is key to finding out what’s really stuck or causing friction: the bottlenecks, the competing priorities, and where too much is landing on too few people. It's usually somewhere other than where it first appears.

Build.
I work with the leaders to design a realistic, practical fix that works for you and your organisation: the structure, the decision cadence, the operating rhythm and working to clear the bottleneck.
.png)
Run.
I put new practices in place hands-on and run with it. You get one less thing to manage, and more time to focus on the bigger strategic picture and sleep better.

Maintain.
I stay beside you as your right hand for as long as needed, keeping the rhythm going, refining as the organisation grows and the next challenge arrives.
Why work with me.
Why leaders work with me.

Listen first
Nothing holds without context. I spend real time getting to know you, your team and how your organisation actually works, including the history and the nuances. That's how I find what's really holding things up, and why the fix fits the business you have.
People & operations, together

Things rarely happen in isolation. It's usually part people, part process.
I bring over 15 years of senior HR and operations experience, so my view is systemic - I look at structure and rhythm as well as roles, decisions and the conversations that make enable successful change.

Real support
There's nothing worse than being given a presentation with the 'right' solution, but no support for implementing it. I support this crucial phase, running and refining the new practices with your team until they're part of how you work. You get a change that lasts, and one thing off your plate.

Trusted advisor
I work alongside you and your leadership team as someone you can rely on. When something is with me, it's done to a high standard and you always know where it stands. You can stop carrying it, and turn your attention back to leading.
One leadership team at a time.
I take on one partner engagement at a time, working as part of your leadership team, usually for 12 to 18 months. You get my full attention, and I get to know your business well enough to be genuinely useful in it.

About me.

I'm Kathryn Andrews.
I've spent close to two decades in HR and operations, more than 15 of them in senior roles, including over a decade at ExxonMobil advising senior leaders on people management, recruitment, strategy and restructuring. I've moved global business lines onto new operating models aligned with strategy and revenue goals, built succession plans and helped see a significant divestment through.
Today I specialise in helping leaders navigate business transitions. My approach is rooted in systems thinking: I look beyond the surface-level issues to find lasting solutions that align people, process and purpose.
I know what change feels like from the inside, for the leaders driving it and the people living through it.
I thrive on helping leaders achieve more and have greater positive impact, inside and outside work.
